Katy grew up in the San Fernando Valley, the middle child between an older brother and a younger sister. Her love for art and design started early, along with a passion for travel and new experiences that has taken her all over the world. She’s always dreaming about her next adventure (next stop: the honeymoon in Greece!) and is most excited to begin this new chapter with Dave and their puppy, Joey.

Dave also grew up in the San Fernando Valley, the oldest of 3 siblings who are still all close today. At a young age Dave started tagging along with his dad and grandpa on fishing trips which turned into a life-long obsession. He’s always been active and into the outdoors, always looking for a new challenge or adventure.

Kate and Dave first met at work (of all places) at the Harbor Freight Tools corporate office in 2016. Kate designed artwork for packaging while Dave developed new products. After many years of friendship, a pandemic, and a few job changes, they finally agreed to meet up for dinner… and the rest is history.

They officially started dating in 2023, but since they’d known each other for years, they quickly realized they were a perfect fit. Many great dates, a few fun vacations, and one extremely spoiled Goldendoodle puppy later, they’re finally getting married!
